Hello!
My name is Mrs. A., and I have a love for helping students succeed! I have 6+ years of tutoring experience and have seen how rewarding it can be! I have taught subjects ranging from Reading to Algebra I, including extracurricular classes like Guitar and Graphic Novels. My Bachelor's degree is in Interdisciplinary Studies, so I like the challenge of various subjects and exploring new topics! In college, I had the wonderful opportunity to take an awesome grammar course. It changed how I wrote and developed confidence in my writing. Because of this, I enjoy incorporating good writing skills in my English courses. This can help students with future career goals as well!
Guitar

Math
Math is probably one of my favorite subjects to teach. I have taught Math subjects ranging from 2nd grade, 5th grade, and into Algebra I. Having a one-on-one approach to math can help students get the answers to the questions they may have. I like to do the "I do, we do, you do" method to teaching this subject. :)
Chess (New!)
I'm excited to add a chess course where students can learn the fundamentals of this challenging and rewarding game. Although this course is designed for beginners, even advanced students can benefit from learning strategies and tips.
